Pat Bohse invited back for the 5th time in a row to the New Jersey League of Municipalities Annual Conference
Pat Bohse presented the workshops Meeting the Movers and Shakers in the Grant Giving World and Grant Writing Made Easier at the New Jersey League of Municipalities’ 2005 Conference in Atlantic City. During Meeting the Movers and Shakers in the Grant Giving World, representatives from private sectors discussed how they decide to whom they will award grant money and they gave tips on what they look for in grant proposals. In Grant Writing Made Easier, Pat conducted a hands-on session that covered the basics of grant writing for Government money and discussed topics such as: the different approaches to accessing public funds, the basic components that need to be in grants, the increasing use of e-grants and overview of fiscal issues in applying for and receiving grants.
Pat Bohse has authored another article for the New Jersey League of Municipalities Magazine
Teaming Up: As Budgets Shrink, Municipalities Find Growing Opportunities in Alliances was Pat’s article found in the October issue of NJ Municipalities, a magazine of the New Jersey League of Municipalities. The article showed how by forming strategic alliances with corporations and non-profit organizations, municipalities can find resources for projects that might never achieve reality in tough budgetary times.
Pat Bohse Named Adjunct Professional at Fairleigh Dickinson University for the Masters of Administrative Science at FDU's HRDI Campus
Pat Bohse has joined the staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University's HRDI Campus as an Adjunct Professional for their Masters of Administrative Science program. She will conduct a course on Grantwriting entitled " Grantwriting and Administration," available through FDU's Off Campus Degree Program. This 12-week program will begin in January 2005. Bohse & Associates has been named Association Manager for NJ4A, comprised of New Jersey's 21 county offices on aging. Bohse will assist the Association with strategic planning, meeting facilitation, and general operations.
